Loot/Lute
It's interesting that we never really write original music. Even the most groundbreaking artists and composers loot large chunks of their music from other sources. Sometimes the most creative thing we can do is to combine genres and cross barriers. Going back to antiquity, we just take what is already out there and internalize it, try to make it our own. From jesters plucking on lutes to modern-day artists, this trend is apparent. The same is true of writers, especiallly Iowan ones.
